Privacy Policy

This policy explains which personal data Meta Real Estate collects through its website, why we process it, how long we retain it and which rights you have.

Last updated: 2 September 2026

01

Data we collect

When you submit a property inquiry, we collect the information you provide: your full name, email address, telephone number and message. We also record the property to which the inquiry relates, your selected language and the time of submission.

Our hosting and security infrastructure may automatically process limited technical information, such as your IP address, device and browser type, access time and server logs required for the stability and protection of the website.

We do not request special categories of personal data and ask that you do not include such information in your message.

02

Why we process your data

We process inquiry data to respond to your interest, provide additional information, arrange communication or a property viewing and take the steps you request before a potential agreement is concluded.

  • responding to inquiries and communicating about a property;
  • arranging viewings and providing requested information;
  • maintaining communication records and managing relationships with interested parties;
  • preventing form misuse and protecting the website;
  • meeting legal obligations and protecting legal interests.

03

Legal bases for processing

When you contact us about a property, processing is necessary to take steps at your request before a potential agreement is concluded.

We may process certain information on the basis of our legitimate interests in maintaining business communications, protecting the website, preventing misuse and retaining documentation required to establish or defend legal claims. Where required, we process data to comply with legal obligations.

We do not use inquiry data to send direct marketing communications without a separate and appropriate legal basis.

04

Who receives your data

Your data may be accessed by authorised Meta Real Estate personnel who require it to process your inquiry.

To the extent necessary for operating the website, data may be processed by providers of hosting, database, security and email infrastructure. Notifications of new inquiries are delivered using Resend. We expect these providers to process data only as instructed and with appropriate safeguards.

We may disclose information to professional advisers or competent authorities where necessary to meet a legal obligation or protect legal interests.

We do not sell personal data.

05

International data transfers

Some technical service providers may process data outside the Republic of Serbia. Where such a transfer occurs, we seek to apply appropriate contractual, organisational and technical safeguards in accordance with applicable law.

06

How long we retain data

We retain inquiries for as long as they are required to process the request, continue relevant communication and document the business relationship. When data is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected, it is deleted or anonymised.

Certain information may be retained for longer where necessary to meet legal obligations, resolve a dispute or establish or defend legal claims. Technical logs and backups are retained according to the limited retention cycles of our infrastructure providers.

07

Your rights

Subject to the conditions prescribed by applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of processing, data portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.

You may submit a request using the email address shown on this page. We may request additional information necessary to verify the identity of the person making the request.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Serbia.
